About 

Benjamin Johnson is a portrait photographer from the West Midlands, starting out photography when he traveled around Indonesia at 14 to then choosing it as a GCSE. He has photographed many different people, including Noisy, EYK and Jaws

In his second year of college he released his 1st book, 'Subculture' inspired by the Birmingham Music scene and collaborating with Ben Ramsay of the TheNewConsistent. Progressively becoming good friends and working on further projects, including Provide Birmingham and Cow Vintage and just recently in April he was invited to document his set when supporting Irish rapper Rejjie Snow.

In March 2021 he met up Finn and Max, founders of the Birmingham streetwear brand, 'the Inglish'. He has photographed many of their collections with the most recent being the FW21 look-book, photographing their clothing collection in Moseley.

Most recently he has been photographing a lot of live music Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn, Overpass, TNC, shooting on 35mm a lot more to give a more authentic look to his images.
